Day 1: Depart Muscat, ascend through terraced rose gardens and ancient villages on Jebel Akhdar. Overnight in a traditional mountain lodge.
Day 2: Summit hike with views over Wadi Ghul — the Grand Canyon of Arabia. Descend and return to Muscat.
Physically demanding. Good fitness required. 4×4 vehicle needed for the last stretch. Temperatures drop significantly at night.
